do your power windows still work?
PS Looks real good.

Still looks cool.
and last but not least you can always clean up your leather seats with a bowl of water with a couple splashes of Woolite and an old t shirt.....

Looks great! Now Wheel it!!!!!!!

When you do I want you to report back with your honest opinion.

Have you weighed it yet? I went a little further with the cutting on mine and kept the 80 series axles. Mine is right at 4200 with steel wheels(beadlocks),winch, etc.

I think I bobbed my frame just a tad shorter than you did-about 2" behind the rear pan hard bar mount. Love the D60/14bolt swap. I'll prolly go that way one day if the 1FZ ever dies ;)

We are doing another now that will end up 6" longer than mine and still have the factory windshield (for now). Should be able to post some pics around new year

ill keep my eye out for the pics, i like seeing all the other cut up 80's.

i tried to keep my windshield but it was keeping me off too many trails i wanted to run. that, and it was gonna be rough trying to make the cage look good and be strong enough building it around the windshield.

I agree but the Gal I am helping build this one for wants to try to keep it. My bet is it won't last long :)

cage work looks awesome...

the Lexan will scratch pretty easy... I put a piece in a 40 for a windsheild years ago... cleaned some mud off with water and a towel and it was like looking through a kaliedoscope afterwards...

that is my experience with using it...

havent accomplished much on the truck lately. got the cage painted and just finished putting LED's in for some interior lighting.

only wheeling ive done is just running around a local area on some dirt roads. it was in the high 20's to low 30's and i stayed plenty warm with just a hoodie on.
