You don't mess around!I like it.Most people would cringe at the thought of chopping the top off of what was once a $40,000+ suv. Can't wait to see it finished
I think it was more than 40k. Lexus badge gets and extra 20k.

if id have known what kind of wheeling id be doing when i bought this truck, i probably would have started with something different. this one just progressed to the point that it was so beat up that chopping it doesnt even bother me at all lol. i like wheelin something different any way.

Very nice!!!

Mad Max rig. Cool. I like it.

How's the little guy?
You plan on welding the doors shut?
What about the rain? Snow? This is the east coast.

he's doin great! he's a really happy baby and i hope it stays that way, lol.

gonna leave the doors functional for now, possibly make half doors out of em in the future.

the two main bars are almost directly above the top of the doors and im gonna run the aluminum roof all the way out on top of those bars. should stay pretty dry unless sitting at a pretty good angle. i never wheel with the windows up any way and have stayed pretty dry. for the really rainy times ive got some rain suits. also will have a lexan windshield. for the cold, snowy days i guess ill wear something warm and turn the heat all the way up :D

Coming along nicely! . Going to the frame I see.
Where does the front bars go down to? The sliders?
