Can someone take a photo of an early model and a late model and post it here? I need to make sure I get both made....assuming they are not interchangeable.
Check post #127, there is a pic showing the other style.
Everyone look at post #290. That is what I am having made. I do not have a sample of the gear in post #124. I am having made, apparently, the newer style gear. Please inspect the gear that you have to verify what you have. I have a regulator from a 71 and it has the newer gear in it, which could have been upgraded at any time in the past. Thanks.
Update. Gear broach is finished and is being hardened. Should cut test gear this week. Once fitted properly, it is go time!
Everyone in line for a late model gear, please email me your contact info and quantity needed at midgainc@yahoo.com . It looks like we are getting ready, finally for the production run. The brass is being sourced right now. Hopefully, we will be cutting gears in a week or so.
Update - of the 10 gears from the initial run, 5 are now spoken for. If you want in the game, now is the time to speak up.
Make that 4 gears unspoken for...
I might as well get an extra, I'm in for one.
