Custom BIOR plate front bumper has arrived

All set

The top plate is still at the laser shop and won't be done until next week as they're backed up, so I'll probably just install the bumper on Saturday and add the plate later

I wasn't sure which way I was gunna go with the lighting (2,3 or 4), so I told him to send a few more mounting plates so I could play around with it.

I wanted 4 staggered, but after sizing it up, it was just way too much

3 just looked odd like a 3 eyed alien or sumthin

This way I can easily make another bar if I decide to go with smaller lights or maybe an LED bar

The extra mounts on top are for my high lift Jack...

Put the bumper on Friday and the fit was VERY tight

I actually had to R&R the flares to slide it in place and ditch the rubber stops on the bottom of each flare, but it's pretty much spot on

The laser shop is backed up, but the top plate should be ready later this week

A little update on the top plate

Still baking in the booth, but the plan is to back the Land Cruiser logo with a plexi filter and back light it with either LED's or a neon tube whenever the main power solenoid for the winches is powered up

Ready to install as soon as I have the lighting wired

OK, another little update....

Found some LED ricer lights we had sitting on the shelf and they seem to fit well

Pulled the spotlight bar, dropped in the cover plate and it was good to go

I'll take more pix when it gets dark

Had some leftover LED light strips from my RC Hexacopter, so I soldered them together and stuck them under the winch cover plate
