I still cant believe what youve been going through to get this done! Portal Tek looks like some of the best axles out there, and the exact _______ for their service, pretty unbelievable!
I must say you have been dealing with this better than 99% of us on this forum could.

Progress is still a little stale. Trying to buy the house im living in... then, w/in 6 months later, ill refinance and fund the rest of the project. At least 75% of it. But that wont be untill june, If i get the house. If not, Business is picking up a little. So more money to the black hole. I mean project :)

Thanks for contradicting my negativity in the last post, I see now your comment is alot more helpful than my last one. ;)

Whats up with all of the hate and hostility? We are waiting on the green light from Ron to move forward on this project. Ron has some great ideas that we would like to see happen. Here's to moving forward!!

your right i am quick to judge without knowing the whole story and thats not cool. :whoops: can you tell us when he ordered the axles and how long it has taken to get them? I really fell his pain watching this project take 2 years to get ___% done.

If the question were just about the axle the truck would have been finished long ago. However, we are not just building axles for Ron. The build scope of this truck has changed numerous time. Ron has asked us to hold off on building for a while. That's cool. Ron is a good guy and we understand economic ups and down. Ron can rest assured that his truck is being safely stored inside our shop and has been for a long time now. As mentioned before we are just patiently waiting for the go-a-head to continue building.

not pointing fingers here, but this thread took a heading due south for a little while when there was no communication. So i'm sure a lot of us jumped on the band wagon.

It's good to see you jump in and set the record straight.

Hello everyone. the build is still going. just slower than i wanted. It should get a good push by may or june, and another one before the end of the year. The goal is to have it running before the end of the year on its own. its still in stage 1, stage two should be ready to start by june and stage 3 in oct/november. aftetr that the frame and body should be complete... then I will start on the the other upgrade goodies.

Well, Its been a while since the last update. But not much has been going my way.
I should be getting some pictures some time soon on the progress of the build. After this stage, alls there is left to do is Install the axles, and drive train. Then add all the bling bling.
Ill post pictures as soon as I get them.
