The whole fleet of spirit airlines on moth balls. We saw these while trying to get to Buc-ee's

I know it is a little late but I just got home late last night. A couple of my father's day gifts, one gives the impression of @Wilma83

We loaded up the Cruiser to escape the omnipresent smoke in Northern Arizona and turned east. Destinations were the Hannagan Meadow area, then down across the Blue River and eastward into New Mexico to the edge of The Gila wilderness. Life is better in the summer at 9000 feet, that’s for sure!

I also highly recommend the Catwalk trail near Glenwood, New Mexico… an extremely easy “hike“ through some really cool terrain, and plenty of running water.

That whole slice of Western New Mexico is glorious. Our favorite way home from Alpine, through Luna, down to Mule Creek, and pop out at Safford.
Sometimes a side trip to Mogollon.

We have a same herd of elk in the subdivision. This was a week ago

They were back again this morning.

Here is a calf playing king of the hill on a pile of cinders I raked up before had driveway to the garage asphalted

Heard a beeping and seen the tree rain gauge was registering rain fall.

Looked and calf had knocked off and calf was raking with his hoof. Scared of off before it got broken.

Can she it's original position in the far left in the second picture.

I need that in a very bad way. My well is failing and my lawn is hurting.

Company back again. One starting a rack.

Seem a little late in the season.

They are like cattle just look at my dogs when they bark.

I did notice my rain gauge has been knocked down again. Waiting for them to move on to check it's status.

Still waiting. This bull is sound asleep.

A bit away from SOAZ, but still a good spot. Lots of Land Cruisers. I always pictured this spot being so remote, but today it was the most people we'd seen in weeks. Then we saw a croc just as we headed back to our boat. 😬🐊
Cape York, Australia. Stoked to finally make it to a place I've seen so many times online.
