I really hate seeing stuff like this. I spent a few years on a volunteer fire department in rural Utah where we’d be first on such scenes at all times of the day and night. People rarely appreciate how much of a death trap are these metal exoskeletons when crashed at speed. Cheers to slow ass sturdy cruisers.

Smallest youngster Gila Monster I’ve ever seen. Always cool to see these guys.

3rd Gen schlepped the wife and I up to Montana for her family reunion. 2,123 miles total, avg 19.79 mpg, total fuel cost $545.08.
Found out one has to go at least 75 mph in Utah to keep from being run the hell over. Old dude took everything I tossed at it, and
the driver did too.

Lake Powell is scary low!
That is Whaweep marina out there and I remember those rocks behind it being an island.

Back in the early 1970s would go straight across from the marina to Warm Creek. Remember was slow going as you entered Warm Creek and bigger boats would have head towards the dam. Warn Creek avoided the Channel just up from the dam. The section just up from the dam got rougher as it got later in day. Caused by wakes from all the boats.

Lake Mead and Colorado river flowimg thru the Grand Canyon has priority over Lake Powell. Wouldn't look to see level to improve any time soon.

Could have easily spent the Summer up there.
I didn't feel like dealing with the "Kleenix" rush hour traffic on the way home so we dived off on the Lake Mary road and around Roosevelt lake.
Told the wife to keep an eye out for Cruisers when we got close to your neck of the woods.
