Starting time 7:30 PM NOTE: earlier start time

Meeting agenda
  • Introduction of first time guest
  • Introduction of new members by CHUY
  • ROTM volunteers needed for January and February:idea:
  • New CSC winter swag update
  • Run of the month – Recent details and reports
  • Holiday runs

We will limit the meeting to a maximum of 1 hour.

*ROTM Run of the month has been very successful in the past so its back for people that want to go on runs but need to plan in advance. We will be looking for volunteers each month for the ROTM (run of the month). Its your run and includes anywhere you want, any day in the month, overnight, night run, even a scenic dirt road drive. Again its your run and your chance to get involved and meet new members.

Any CSC members please attend this meeting if possible we will discuss the future of CSC swag and CSC membership fees. I would like to have an open discussion on the subject for direct feedback. The time has come to re-address the issue since pricing has been the same since CSC began nearly a decade ago!!!

I've been out of the loop and haven't been to the meeting for the past few months.. but wanted to know if I can get someone to bring a couple extra CSC T's and stickers this Friday? Need a L & XXL?

Thanks,
Scott

Late meeting addition:

Puulboy's Extremeaire-compressor-plus installation is ready to be tested. We will be testing the Extremeaire VS the Puma at the meeting to see how they stack up against each other.

I'd like to add my A/C compressor air to the competition just to see if it holds up....

Absolutely:clap:

I will bring my CO2 also if anyone is interested.

Introduction of first time guest
We had two first time guests. They were James are and Ryan. James was also our latest CSC member as of 12/20/2013.

Introduction of new members by CHUY
Chuy was not able to attend the meeting due to death in close friend’s family.

ROTM volunteers needed for January and February
Saddletramp volunteered for January 2014 Run of the Month, and Puulboy volunteered for February 2014 Run of the Month.

New CSC winter swag update
No winter swag update due to Chuy‘s absence.

Run of the month – Recent details and reports
There was nobody to report on Run of the Month for December 2013 that took place on December 14, 2013.

Holiday runs
Holiday runs were proposed and discussed. There are 4 holiday runs throughout the holidays:

  1. 12/22 Holiday Run - Exploring cabins and trails south of Bloody Basin
  2. 12/23 Possible shake down run to Box Canyon area?
  3. 12/28 Wheeling trip for the 28th of this month (Tucson)
  4. 12/28 Holiday Stocker Friendly Run - Montana Mountain

Air compressor tests
Puma, Extremeaire and onboard AC compressors were used in the tests. Two tests were conducted. First, Puma versus Extremeaire, Extremeaire was the winner in this test. Next test was Extremeaire versus onboard AC compressor. The onboard AC compressor aired up the tires faster than the Extremeaire in this test. I don’t have the test results. Please post the results if you have them.

Cdaniel's onboard AC compressor.

Kinda expected the converted AC pump to win. I know my old #10 York could fill two tires at once way faster than anyone else's aftermarket compresso could fill one, back in the day. Of course, with the A/C setup and a hand throttle pulled up to about 2000 rpm, it was moving tons of air. John
