FYI in the spirit of complete accuracy, the engine driven compressor was a Harrison R4. Not a York. A York Would have probably performed better.
The York was the faster without question but also the most costly to set up on an 80. More then $500 based on threads on MUD Also noted the engine powering the York was at idle. Raising the engine RPM will increase the performance even moreThis set-up is FAST!
The Extreme air was a little faster then the PUMA and being waterproof gives you a lot of mounting options. The Extreme air set up is also more then $500
The PUMA although slower then the others it is clearly the best value at under $300 set up. The PUMA requires the least amount of work and installation challenges to get a working set up. YMMV
As for air up times by second, typical CSC fashion the data and test condition was not 100% perfect. The entertainment value watching the testing unfold was high.
In closing they all will air up your tires in under ~10min and have solid history for performance and reliability. Each has there pros and cons picking what works best is a choice each person needs to make based on there needs and ability to set up.
Side note: I will admit after seeing the speed of the York I wanted one! If someone offered a York bolt-in kit for $500 I would be all in but after a couple hours of reading Yorks in 80 threads the Puma will continue to be my choice.
Would you pay $500 for a York bolt-in kit after seeing it perform?
