Thanks to whome ever helped out our friend at cruiser days. She was the blonde lady whose pedal came off of her bike. She said it was some one who knew me. Anyways, she was very thankful to you.

Idea's for next years date?

I need to plan well in advance and I'd like to stop by again, this time hopefully with the '55.

I should have known it was the Nissan she was describing. "Dark blue LandRover" were her words.

Hahaha...ouch! :D

Last Friday driving home from work on 96th Avenue a guy in a beige Suburban pulled up next to me and yelled, "Hey...nice truck! Is that a turbo diesel in there? Do you know Greg?" To which I replied, "Which one?" He said he helped you put in your part-time case in your Cruiser...nice to meet people who know quality when they see it. :D

That would be Norm from Clearbrook. He has owned Toyo Mini trucks and 4 Runners. Right now he ownes a Cherokee that has been a feature in some magazines (all self built). Great guy as Justin will tell you. He must have one of the better jobs in the lower mainland as well. Driving instructor at the Justice Institute.

 Nasty, and to think I took time to help her out.

Next time she thinks its a LR, tell her to look for oil leakying everywhere and smoke coming from the electronics. :D

(BTW, I saw on Seattle Craigslist an old classic diesel 109.)

When she said "I figured a Land rover guy would have tools in his truck" I corrected her. I told her LandCruiser guys have tools in their trucks. Land Rover guys pay expensive mechanics to fix theirs.

You could also say that Land Cruiser guys have tools in their trucks to fix the broken Land Rovers found along the trail!!
