That sucks Kevin, hope you catch the SOB!!

I think Michael hit 80 due to the high winds making the 40 light as a feather!!!!! :grinpimp:

there was just too much crap in it to make it go any faster :hillbilly:

including the quality mangleage - have not cleaned it yet, pics to come

all-in-all considering, 7 years of wheeling the 40 and this was the first birf bust - not too shabby :p

All from the passenger's seat?

no, that was him driving - after Cameron, he took over

I was surprised myself, but he really pushed the pedal :D

The issues started right away on the way up. First Chris had dog related failure, will let him explain, if he wants. Coming into Flagstaff, my rig started running hot. Changed the fan clutch (John brought a spare) with little confidence of improvement. Call around, Juan went to the parts store for some cooling system flush and ended up at Sethro's. He was a great host, loaned tools, a hose to flush the nasty stuff out, installed the super flush fluid, made some improvement, so moved on.

Stopped at Snake/River House Ruin for our firsts wheeling. The main house and granaries.

Woke up early on Sunday, the TV weather said 24F and my rig had no antifreeze, so panicked! Great, start with a clogged rad and end up with a cracked block.:o Bolted out to start it, coolant temp, 42F, disaster averted.

Ran Hotel Rock, IMHO, great trail, good obstacles, good views, ruin, what is not to like? Parked at the Arch Canyon overlook and the little arch.

When we arrived in Blanding, found out that Chris had rushed to CO with appendices!

I was gunning, so didn't get any pix of the of the first obstacles, will have to rely on others, lots of cameras were clicking. Some Camel Back play.

Kevin, Great pics especially the one of the river. That would be great to make a poster of.

One from the ridge, looking back over where we traveled. From here went wandering around the ridges on the way back to Blanding, didn't take pix.

On Monday we started at Maverick Point, up into the mountains past Dark Canyon, to Beef Basin, Ruin Park and out Elephant Hill, great run with varied views.
