I wasn't impressed with Kane, would do Gold Bar ahead of it, only IMHO.
We changed Friday's trail in camp last year, worked great, just asked the trail boss. May or may not work depending on how full the run your requesting is.
So...
...all we basically do is gang up on the poor trail leader on Golden Spike on Thursday, and then kinda disperse and generally "make the area unsafe"...
(ok, not sure if the last remark hits the spot as it is a literal translation from a German phrase 
).

Yeah, but when I'm out with the Blazer guys we normally don't tell Rising Sun about it...
By the way, last time at Blazer Bash, they broke the record for shortest and longest Golden Spike run on the same day
. Group 1 took seven hours; Group 2 was 15 or so...The first weather reports are in. It looks like BFE could end up as BF Mudhole
. We may want to keep the trail plans flexible.

one of my favorite Moab trails is Poison Spider - it was also the first Moab trail I did in my own truck
unsicher machen = make unsafe, meaning mixing up the status-quo, unhinge regulations and inhibitions
can be applied to a place (Platz), a town (Stadt), an area (Gegend), a steet (Straße), a bar (Bar, Kneipe, Restaurant), a party or any other venue where humans gather
example: Wir machen heute abend den Biergarten unsicher = we'll make the beer garden unsafe tonight = rock the beer garden

Nice! I like the quote, "Wir machen heute abend den Biergarten unsicher" I lived in Germany for a year and learned quite a bit of the language while I was there. I miss speaking it...

Chris - I've got a spot on Poison Spider on Friday if you want it - I've run it before and will be running the first part on Thurs as part of Golden Spike.
