I dont know where I got Double Whammy, maybe one of the mods can change it for me. Nice one Michael, I was wondering when one of those was going to surface.

Double Whammy is after the Golden Crack; two trucks ran it: the silver '80 with the Virginia Tech sign on the tailgate, and the grey '80 from Florida with the skinny Boggers.

heres another short clip of Michael, Claudia, Kevin and Rob doing a nice hill climb. If you guys know the name of the hill, let me know.

Gawd! That looks like an awesome trip and some fantastic pictures. Wish I was able to go along.

Thanks for the pictures - looks like a trip that will never be forgotten!

unless you are there and in the truck, you have no idea how steep wipeout hill, im not gonna lie, my leg was shakin after getting to the bottom.

True that!:hillbilly:

You could keep "Arizona Highways" in pictures for their next 12 issues! Just dont tell them it is really Utah....

Awesome all around. Thank you for all the pics and video. Kicking myself for not being able to go again this year now.

On Wednesday we did the tech/registration thing then headed out to Dome Plateau for an afternoon run. It’s a highland area east of Arches National Park and north of the Colorado River. The highway (128) drive along the river is a great drive, we were looking for an overlook into Professor Valley.

First stop, Dewey Bridge, a sad sight.:frown:

The trial climbs onto the plateau and runs across it, there are tons of trails to explore (get lost on:hillbilly:), so the tablet with topo software came in handy.
