Double Whammy is after the Golden Crack; two trucks ran it: the silver '80 with the Virginia Tech sign on the tailgate, and the grey '80 from Florida with the skinny Boggers.

On Wednesday we did the tech/registration thing then headed out to Dome Plateau for an afternoon run. It’s a highland area east of Arches National Park and north of the Colorado River. The highway (128) drive along the river is a great drive, we were looking for an overlook into Professor Valley.

First stop, Dewey Bridge, a sad sight.

The trial climbs onto the plateau and runs across it, there are tons of trails to explore (get lost on), so the tablet with topo software came in handy.
