Favoritism :D

OUCH! Several variables involved but that isn't one of them! Basically the primary variable would be date and time stamp. It's hugely attempted to give everyone their first choice but obviously on the popular runs that doesn't always work so if you don't get your first choice on one run then your other first choices get priority. It does take some time! Good thing favoritism isn't a variable as your jab would come into play! :p :hillbilly: ;)

Any room still available for the night run?

Yes...if you have already registered for Cruise Moab. If you've already registered, we can easily get you on the overnight (which is awesome, I did it last year on the pre-run).

If you have not yet registered for CM at all, you'll need to get on the waiting list. We usually have some cancellations, so it's not as hopeless as you might think. But the 200 slots are all filled as of the moment.

Thanks Hulk! I'm already registered. I just need the details (when do I need to be there by, where, etc.) You can PM me if you need my email or phone.
Thanks again,
Nick

less than 4 weeks... getting close!

see... you have it all wrong.

You need to remember that even if your entire committee went home today, every one would still show up and have an excellent time!

I learned that the year we had to postpone Rubithon due to snow...

now get busy!

Still haven't received my confirmantion packet...

Tony -- caravan? Mudrak is talking about heading out Sunday.

Leaving Saturday, and stopping at every gas station between here and Moab.

We'll be hanging out all week.

What route are you taking? A bunch of us are going Hwy 50 Saturday and overnighting in Delta. :bounce:

Don't tell me your towing with a gasser?

I prefer 80 and around... too many large passes on 50.

Brisket to Moab?

To the Texans: (Inc. Butch & Cowboy) :-)

Could you please bring some of your famous BRISKET to Moab? I would like to try it. I've heard so much about it.

I am looking so forward to having some fun with all you great Texans!!!

I haven't been to Moab in a couple of years and miss seeing y'all!!

Ham Frequencies for Cruise Moab

Is there any set frequencies to use for VHF/UHF (Ham)... simplex or repeater that is used for this evet?

Hope this helps!

Common Channels CB HAM Radio
Cruise Moab Base 4 146.460 (simplex)
Repeater #1 - 146.760, 88.5 Hz tone
Repeater #2 - 146.900, 88.5 Hz tone

HAM radio operators please note: Utah band-plans use a 20Kz step between frequencies. All trail frequencies are within the Utah Band-Plan simplex operating range. All frequencies will be operated according to the “gentleman’s agreement” with regards to sharing frequencies. All operators must use the least amount of power necessary to conduct transmissions. The CM base station may be monitored during the day for non-life threatening emergency traffic, should the need arise. Please seek out a high vantage point to attempt calling the CM base station.

We have assigned frequencies for each trail run and will give that information out at the event.

Chris -- If you have any "VIP's" that are looking for a seat, I have one open. Turns out that the guy who was going with me has to work now.

I'm doing the "FJC" run with Robbie on Thursday.

Thanks
