Thanks for sharing Kevin...I keep saying to myself "next year...next year!"

Towards the end is the most challenging wheeling, most cruisers would make it stock, with careful wheel placement, but bigger tires and lift make it easier.

Some slider abuse!:D

The last pic is the turn at Hurrah Pass, from here there is still about 10 miles, mostly dirt road. The run was about 58 miles dirt, took about 10.5 hours and from Monticello to Moab my rig burned 9.5 gallons of fuel.

Great trail with killer views, if you get the chance to run it, DON'T pass on it! It was a BLAST, by far the best day of the trip!

Thanks for the pictures!!!!

I think these are the only ones of me in the cruiser!!!!

X2 Brittan, next year.

If I would have gone this year, I wouldn't have been stranded at Rosevelt lake with a broken fuel pump in the wifes truck,(I could think of worse places to be broke down though).

Nice that you had some cloud cover, those pics came out excellent!

It was great meeting you CSC guys. I knew Ross before the runs but Kevin, Rob, Claudia(sp?) Matt (stay outta my ass) and a few others. I hope I can make the pre Moab adventure run next with ya.

Buck Buchanan

No runs on thurs

Matt, did you get on a run on Thursday. You are lucky you didn't run porcupine with us. Great trail but not a good group run. To many poorly prepared trucks and drivers on a long shelf road. We ended up strapping two trucks in the first 200 yards. Took us 4 hours to run all the way in, we bugged out at lunch and were down the mountian in a little more that an hour. Good thing, I heard one of the truck broke down on the way out.
I hope you got to do something fun, if not you got a good taste of Moab and there is always next year.
Rob,
Didnt get to run on thursday. I actually left at 1100pm wed night. Family needed me and I felt I got a great run in sat to wed. some of the most beautiful scenerey. I definatley was blessed with that much. I will be there next year hopefully with wife in the passenger seat. Im at Disneyland this week. I miss the open road already. My girls are havin a great time and that whats counts. Hope you got the exhaust fixed easily. Im sad I missed that. Later
Matt

great to meet you

Good to meet you too Buck, Your welcome on any of our runs.
Your the man buck. Hopefully we can race next year. I know you were sad to drive all the way back to texas without me on your ass. I learned it in California sorry.

I'll make sure I'm outta low for that one. Funny how watching an exo caged truck with a big stinger close up in your rearview mirror makes you give it the skinny pedal. If youd have been behind me heading for Houston I would have made record time :D

Buck

Don't hold it against me that I knew Ross :grinpimp:

I noticed that about Matt when he chased me into the AZRocks basecamp in March. He's a tailgatin mofo that's for sure.

Great pics guys! Sorry for the trailer flop, but I am gunnnig for the same paint scheme. :D

Yeah, on Lockhart, last Tuesday, I looked like Rob was towing him up the trail:D .

The trailer is fine, just had to re-bend the tent hinges and the roof rack supports that it mounts to. Called the Adventure trailers and asked if they could put more grease on the bottom so the trailer would know which side needed to be down. I'm just glad that the hitch worked the way it was suppose to and there was no damage to my truck. It’s always a good thing to get the first scratch on your new toys, then you don’t have to worry about the rest of them.

I was just making sure Rob could only throw a limited amount of boulders in my way. Also if his exhaust flew off I could catch it. Sorry I wasnt there for you when it happened.
