will revise later. Anyway, I started a big long deal about my 55s. I have 2 72s, a 69, and a 68. The 68 is pictured below. I'm having some health issues that is preventing me from do the type of work I wanted to do so some of my pig stash is going to be up for sale. I was probably a bit premature with my post. Jim called and he thinks he can help me do some of the stuff I can't do. And if he can that changes everything as different parts will be available in the end. So this is all sort of on hold for the moment. Sorry about that.

Here's more of the 55 stash. Somewhere in the original diatribe I talked about how I grew up in the back of a 78 FJ55 red/white. My folks drug us around in that for 10 years over 100k miles of my childhood was in that truck. It is what I learned to drive in. I've owned a lot of Land Cruisers, mostly wagons, and the 55 has managed to escape me until the last year or so. I guess when I finally caught one I ended up with a fever or something.

You are right I do need it, but what I need more is a place to store and work on them... I will be an LC hoarder like nobody's business... I love me some Piggies, 45s & 40s...
 
That could probably be arranged, house, property and pigs. I'll tell my wife we are moving. Maybe she'd leave some 55 art?

Sounds like a deal to me! The 55 art puts it over the top! I love ID... I have only seen the southern and eastern portions of it though...

Hope you can get on top of those health issues! Glad to hear that Jim can/will help you through the tough stuff and you can keep those Piggies happy!
 
Jim stopped out for some parts and I now have some direction. I'm going to have to do some mixing and matching to get everything complete but the 68 will be on the road again hopefully this fall. It is going to get a 2F with a 4 speed. It currently has the original F but it is with a non original 4 speed. I'd love to make the 68 a stock resto but that isn't in the cards. If I can get it nice enough to bomb around town and hit some fire roads a couple of times a year I'll be happy. Someday hopefully I'll even get it back to the red/white color combo.

I will have doors available for sure. I currently have 5 sets and I only need one. I'll have some seats available. Steering wheels. I have axles coming out of my ears. I'll have lots of little stuff too. But I'm not going to get crazy thinking about selling anything until I have this project complete or near complete.

I NEED a lower mount tailgate light. And I NEED a stock rear bumper.
