Coppinger cove clean up ride and work weekend April 2-3. Trails are in need of some serious work. The entrance coming down rock house hill is closed. There are several trees down and trash needs to be picked up

If the 4Runner is up and running, I'd like to go. Anyone else planning to join the fun? It's a great way for us to give back to the offroad community.

I'm leaving for a week on April 3, so I'm out. From the last 2 rides I have been on down there, a clean up mission is a good idea! Hell, 2 years ago on the New Year's ride, I hauled that huge garbage bag of red neck bottles and cans out on our exit day....

The clean up will be based out of the trials training center, so there will be people camped there.

Are folks meeting on Sat. am and camp just one night or come in Friday night and camp 2 nights?
I would likely come in on Sat am as I am supposed to travel on Friday, but my meeting may be cancelled.
looks like you could rent cabins as well.

@Bama4door cant remember exactly where you said you were living in Nashville, but the address of the Training Center for google purposes is 300 Woodland Road, Sequatchie, TN 37374.
Thanks for the heads up Matthew.

That's a pretty good drive down there. I'm not sure I would feel confident in taking the 62 down there. The trans is on it's last leg and I'm trying to find another one to put in there. Would it be terrible if i drove my Land Rover :rainbow::bang:

My plan is to go down Saturday AM. If others want to camp Friday night, I might be up for it. But, I wouldn't get down there until well after dark. I won't be staying Saturday night.

Andrew's baseball schedule just came out. I can't miss opening day. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it.

Can't make it due to baseball either. A couple of us went in this Friday at Palmer Firetower road, camped just before the main crossing. I was really surprised of how clean the exit was. A few beer cans here or there but overall pretty good shape. Water was lowest I've ever seen.

I am still planning to come Saturday morning for the day as long as the dealer can bleed the antilock system. Seems that is whrer all the air is stuck in the system

Well, just got done with my mechanic and my brakes. Those are fixed, but it looks like I need lower ball joints per them, so I am going to pass on the clean up trip until I have them fixed. See you at GMSTR
