dang sorry dude I thought I had found a chrismas deal for ya.

more than mine are needed now... there's a video of us chopping the back end of Matthews 80 and then destroying the front axle by backing it up a wall.... go to FB to watch it.

priced tube today for ya

1 3/4 OD .120 wall DOM is $6.85 a foot.
1 3/4 OD .120 wall HREW is 2.20 a foot.

comes in 20 foot lengths. not sure how much you would need.

It can be done in a weekend as long as the design and cage is laid out and settled on.

I would suggest DOM for the main cage and something else for the exo parts. like maybe 1.5 OD .120 wall HREW ($1.23 a foot).

I don't mind letting Lorena shack up with me.

HREW does not like to take a lot of beatings. It bends and dents way worse than DOM. I usually try to put DOM everywhere that will see lots of use like a slider or a fender bar...all the external stuff on the cage. Inner supports I will step it down to HREW and even .090 wall to save some weight.

He is just repeating what Pat told him to say

Actually... I've always understood it the way Nolen's smokin' it.

edit: but I'm wrong alot

Yes pat is correct.
I wouldn't go thinner than .120 though.
I will start the process of putting cage in bendtech.
E did you want an A Hoop /B Hoop with spreaders in between or a bar thar follows the door line connected to a B hoop.with a bar that runs across visor.

Pat is the man behind the curtian

I will be working on Ram assist steering on the zuk today if anyone is bored.

Once that is in place i will reinstall the radiator. get it all topped off. then test it.

I am a Who Delay Dat. I record on DVR and watch on delay so I can either watch later and/ or fast forward through commercials .

I will be in and out of shop all day.

Hey, when are we doing the next wrenching session? I have two main projects I want/need to do:

  1. Install the Wild West Fab Lower Control Arms
  2. Semi-Exo cage for the front

Have parts...will travel...

Someone is going to have to teach me how to weld.

- Mark

Possibly the weekend of the Dec 18th.

Probably won't be ready for Landspeeders cage by then.

But could install Mark's Lower Control Arms.

I am in the process for making a jig for the stock LCAs. If Mark's are the Cat's Meow I possibly could copy them if Mark is not opposed.

Mark what did you have in mind for an exo. I currently only have a 1.5 inch die for my JD2 Model 3 bender.( 1.5 inch die for 1.5 Outside Diameter tube)

Correct. my sister from Seattle told me they're coming in for the last two weeks of December and staying at Dauphin Island... Whatever time I can break free will be heading down there... So most likely, I'm out til at least January.
