Building L10 at work was built specifically to support C-5 flight testing and production mod work. The center of the building was effectively a 5 story office building. On the 5th floor was a balcony where you could walk out and watch the activity in the bay which had space for two complete C-5s. That vantage gave me a lot more appreciation for the size of the aircraft that I didn't seem to get standing on the shop floor next to them. Maybe being 5 stories up and the T-tail was still above my head ...
