Any of ya been to cathedral valley or goblin valley n of Hanksville Utah ? We should get to goblin valley Tomrrow and camp a couple nights then dirt road it over to cathedral valley for a couple days, then Fruita, just wondering if anyone has been here , and if so, any stuff that is must see or not to waste time on.. I’ve been in the area but never to these specific places

The weather finally turned so I loaded up the cruiser Friday afternoon and went to Shipland WMA.

As the over night temperature dropped low enough to enjoy a sleeping bag. As I sipped my morning coffee a row boat came by. He was moving fairly fast with the current.

I spent the day cruising around Twin Oaks WMA and Delta National Forest.

The roads were perfect and almost dust free after the rain earlier in the week.

I burned 2 tanks of fuel cruising around with the windows down and the radio up stopping at cool spots for a cold beverage or two.

After driving every road on two WMAs and DNF I worked my way home on as many backroads as possible and enjoy a fine beer before grilling a steak and polishing off a lingering bottle of scotch

A very good weekend.
 
This is great Nolen. Just what we are looking for. Should be heading out to Ashville at the end of the month. I'd like to try to do at least some of this.

The east part is the best for sure. Also make sure one leg of the Asheville trip drive the Blue Ridge
