I'm curious about the Yakima one, mostly because if REI carries them I can use their coupons and my dividend to get one for cheap.

@wngrog you mentioned in the past about how the club camped one time at your back lake. What do you think of a Cottonland Overland Extravaganza (Campout) there sometime in January? Everyone could put on there finest pairs of Kuhls, strap their skottle to an expensive roof rack, and gather their ENOs around a roaring fire (not melting close of course). A meal of grilled meats and bourbon then possibly an opportunity to watch @wngrog do some beaver hunting.

Sounds good man. Whatever works with your schedule. February would let people's busy holiday schedules slow down and #eaf Christmas presents could get a work out. Maybe some #OAF crew could come over and join in too.

I looked at those but didn't understand why the shade over windshield.
Probably has more to do with the engineered structural integrity of the canopy than the practicality of covering the hood.

Yea. I agree Ron. I remember last year when our crew rolled up all proud and #eaf on that group of guys from Oklahoma that one trailer cost more than all of our s*** combined.

Turns out they really are #eaf guys but there is no amount of camping I could do to make that kind of investment worth it.

I honestly wish I could. If I lived west of Albuquerque I would be 4 or 5 levels up in gear because it would be easy to use.

I think we've hit the wall where the overland stuff is just going to get sillier.

No sh!t, next mutha fuggas'll be tryna make top-shelf espresso in the woods!

Wait...

Halfway thinking about hacking up something canopy like w/ carbon fiber instead of Al tubing - just to see what folks would pay for it to be the next step up...

REI has a 50% off deal, ending today, if you want to go FULL MF'n ENO. Comes with a double, straps, tarp, and bug net.
