Several of the CLC crew will be in Hot Springs for the Fire and Ice run over New Years. Big bonfire and fireworks on new years if y'all are in the area.

Why?
Should pack pretty small. That's the only real complaint I have with my tentcot. Say I wanted to go to, oh, Rubithon for example. The tentcot is too bulky to fly with.

Nope. Was walking through Cabelas and saw it there and completely Mardised out and bought this.
How do you zip past the center hoop? Odd design.
The fly opens all the way up but the mesh velcros to the middle hoop.

Idk if this counts as #EAF material or not, but I just got me a new Gregory Baltoro 85L Pack for my birthday. This pack should hold just about everything. The freefloating "suspension" should make carrying a lot of crap much easier.

Nice pack, but most of us drive overbuilt land cruisers with trailers because we are lazy and,thus,emphatically opposed to walking anywhere and/or carrying anything and/or any physical activity that does not mix well with beer drinking.
I think yall underestimate my laziness.... my sister is the true backpacker. Im more of a 2 day trip kind of guy. The main reason I like it is that you can get to more remote areas by foot sometimes.
I usually keep one nalgene of whiskey, one of red wine, and one for water. Like I told @wngrog you severely underestimate my laziness
