Got the tent on my FrontRunner this morning.

Those 8 bolts age me a year.

I fully deployed this setup in 6 minutes

No guy wires and no poles in the tent. Those would both take about 5-10 more minutes

You can buy replacement ladders for most any brand of RTT. Those would work. I don't know if you could get the 'overland approved' stamp with those or not tho...

Sweet set up you got there Grogan!

My friend who is a backpacker and sleeps onthe ground with a sleepingbag looks like a genius. He is sleeping before I get in the back of my truck.

So 2 weeks from tonight I will be pestering Run PMc about what time we can meet for a sausage biscuit in Ridgeland and HIT THE ROAD to Big Bend.

We sweep up Andy in FunRoe and hopefully meet Mardis in South Arlington at Rudy's for lunch.

Rough draft....get to Ft Stockton on Wednesday......hole up.....eat some good Mexican and drink whiskey.

Wake up early and watch the sunrise as we head south into the National Park.

Work the park clockwise like I did last trip. Panther Junction to Old Ore Road. We will do a side hike to Ernst Tineja because it is just so damn cool. Continue on to Rio Grande Village. Short hike into Boquillas Canyon. Fill up at Rio Grande Village and head to the Hot Springs.

From Hot Springs we will hit River Road to Glenn Spring Road. We will decide where we are camping when we enter the park. It will be Glenn Spring, Juniper Canyon....or Pine Canyon hopefully.

We will set up camp then pile in one truck and hit the Chisos Basin for sunset.

The next day we head back out Black Gap to River Road. River Road we will backtrack to Mariscal Mine and Solis. We will hit all the side trails to Talley and Loop Camp and likely camp at Johnson Ranch.

The next day we finish River Road and check out Santa Elena Canyon. From there we take Old Maverick out to Terlingua and Lajitas. We take Hwy 170 along the Rio Grande up to Big Bend Ranch State Park.

From here I hand it over to Andy........
