Well my suspension is jacked up and we are too close to the go date so I am out, unless I have
a christmas miracle. I am not driving that thing a few thousand miles without it right with the
luck I have been having. I should dump the 200 and go get me a 2016 TRD 4Runner and be done
with all this s***.

dislike. i know everyone wants to drive their own rig on a "truck camping" trip, but you are welcome to ride with me if you change your mind.
By the way, I really like the new 4runners. Yes, the 200 series is a big, comfy, stable ride, but with those lines, it tends to look like the "corrective shoe" of land cruisers

If the 4Runner had a v8, it would be my favorite vehicle that Toyota makes that is available in America. I saw a TRD the other day and it looked awesome.

Wife and I were just discussing new 4R and GX. I am not sold on 200.
Val's 150 GX is stock, but I like it and she LOVES it.........that being said, I'm really surprised at how much I like this 120 GX after the suspension and tire upgrade! Granted, it doesn't have a lot of external accessories on it yet, but the ride (on and off road), braking, quietness, gadgets, etc. are as good as I could have hoped. Not only that, but in stock form, for whatever reason, the prices have really dropped! (And, I think you'd like the looks of the gray interior in the Lexus even better than the Land Cruiser)

Lastly, since you're now "in a family way," I know safety is more of a concern, and the GX started out from the beginning with the upgraded safety features the Land Cruiser / LX got in 2003 (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, front/side/curtain airbags, LATCH, etc.)

My wife wants a 2014 GX. The first year they went with the huge black grill. She did specify she wanted the luxury version.
No doubt! Tell her the luxury version (a/k/a "Premium") has rear air bags that are prone to failure....and she doesn't want that, right?

I wouldn't use this for cooking, but it is perfect for boiling water for coffee if you don't want to spring for a jetboil or for heating up your espresso milk steamer (what I got it for). $15 on Prime...

It makes a pretty tall, concentrated, flame like an afterburner but here it is on simmer (the little pot supports flip out, but I needed them in)...

Torfab guys are stand-up folks. When the 80 was attacked by a lady in a Jeep last year I got in touch w/ them after seeing a 91 FJ80 they were parting out for a project - same color as mine. They told me what parts would / wouldn't fit my 94, crated up everything i needed to keep the insurance company from scrapping the truck and shipped it to MS pronto. Even tossed in a couple of items they just thought I might need no extra charge. These boys rock.
