Got to moonrocks after some great ribs in sparks Nv.
Crashed out after a couple of cold beers around a campfire. Woke up at 730, aired back down and wheeled for a couple of hours.
But now it's time to roll home and put an end to this epic trip!

Crazy pics! Looks like big fun! I especially like the pic of the clc sticker!!

Yeah, moonrocks has some crazy obstacles/lines. Not 80 friendly though.

I was super stoked when jeff handed the sticker. You guys know how much I love hangin out and wheelin with y'all.

105 days and counting. I'm gonna buy two plane tickets. That way toploader can't say "no".

I love it!! We love hanging out and wheeling with you guys too. You already know but tell toploader "loud" isn't an issue in October! He's the only person I know who's laugh is possibly louder than mine! ; ). Let us know if you need a ride from the airport!

I could tell the 80 wouldn't have made climb #1. don't think I've ever seen anything like that craziness..at least not in person. I know eventually we will though. The samurai is in transformation mode!

Had tons of fun with all of the folks that made this trip! I think I said that if you didn't get in enough wheeling on this trip then there is something wrong! 7 or 8 trails in 6 days! 1 12 hour day on the trail. New friends were made and old friends were reunited. What a great time!!!

Things I learned from the Moab trip:
1. Quiet time at KOA campgrounds starts at 9:30 (not in the CLC handbook)
2. You can't take enough water (or beer) with you on the trail
3. A Dodge dually can go 27 miles with the low fuel light on and overhead display saying "low fuel"
4. Hi-Run trailer tires aren't worth a crap (blew 3 out)
5. 2 guys can change a trailer tire in under 10 minutes with the right equipment
6. 14 hours on the road can make you cranky
7. Boss Man is actually Moses
8. Can't find a better group of friends to wheel with!
9. Almost forgot: Orions ROCK! Best mod to date. Thanks Georg!

Can't wait till the Crawl!

I just got unloaded. Duramax was great.

I was fully loaded with the 80 and all the gear and bodies at 18,250#

3940# front axle, 5340# rear axle, 8850# trailer axles

Mileage out there and back was just under 3000 miles with a couple of small side-trips.

I used right at 300 gallons of diesel and fuel was under $4.00 every time I filled up. 10 mpg. I averaged 60 mph on the way home and I stopped a lot. I ran just under 80 mph most of the way. No traffic either direction. 24 hours each way.

Truck is unloaded and detailed. Trailer is put up, pressure washed and in great shape. No flats.

My 80 needs some love. I dented the driver's side slider, bent the drag link (steering) and my winch died.

More on it's performance later. I really, really, really enjoyed wheeling it in Moab. It was the first time I had put it in 4Low since I bought it almost 2 years ago.

Maybe a Cat has been getting in the truck??

I was following a small truck somewhere in NM, and a cat fell out of the bottom of the truck on the interstate.

Cat went for a ride....they will never know what happened to fluffy......

Awesome..

Glad everyone had a good time!

Sheila and Deb, were ya'll dancin' in that pic? Or shakin' haters off?

Something tells me that this trip took all the wheeling out of ya'll for the year, so I'll prep up for all-nighters in the snake farm in October.
