What a trip! This is the best group of people hang out with. Great job CLC for organizing this club run.

Great to see Georg, Mark (aka Toploader). D'Animal, Woody again as well as all of the nice folks from CLC.

My friend, William, had a great trip. He said this was a, "trip of a lifetime" for him.

Special thanks to Nolen to organizing and leading the trails. Really appreciate being able to run Steel Bender on Thursday.

Great people, Great venue, and Great wheeling. Can't ask for more than that.

Can't wait for October.

I agree!

Big Thanks to Woody for dragging me along.

Cruiser Crawl is in 106 Days. :D

Maybe, if Benevolent Dictator needs a counter balance in his rig. :D

Dan are you coming to Hot Springs????? Hell Yeah!!!

He can outwheel me in his 80 series while he is eating a sandwich and adjusting the stereo with a mug of hot coffee between his legs. He is by far the best driver I have ever seen.

(or I really suck at wheeling )

How does my dent look in silverton?

Yes , we made it to silverton,co ! Million dollar highway is flat out gorgeous!! Its highway 550 between ouray & silverton.

Beginning part going south from ouray took its toll on the diesel 20 mph and a steep grade caused it to overhear again.
> : (
So instead of risking damage we pulled off the 80 and continued down with the heater set to hell.

Its a very curvasious road. Its like riding down a voluptious super model with all the scenery to boot ; ) heeeey...

Hardest part is keeping your eyes off the view.

Going to find a lake to go fishing hopefully there will be a trail to it : )

SCC is on my calendar, but that doesn't always mean anything...the 40 is coming home on Tuesday, to be adjusted and ready...assuming all the stars align, you can have it for SCC to wheel :)

Left Moab Friday morning...killed a couple hours dropping the goose/camper/80 at Proffitts in Delta CO...killed a couple hours having dinner with a friend in Denver...killed 5 minutes dropping weiners off with some of the Homegrown/Slee crew...3 hours of sleep in the front seat outside Kearney NE...now into bloody #2 at our camper in Waupaca and Heather JUST finally arrive...

out :)

On our way to moonrocks just outside of Reno NV right now. Gonna have some BBQ ribs in sparks. Supposed to be one of the top west coast BBQ joints.....we'll find out.
Then wheel the rocks tomorrow morning and head home after lunch. Should be home by sunset. My ass hurts; the dodge needs different seats!

We did 600 miles today in 10 hours with stops for fuel and a long lunch. Never got under 60 going through Dallas. Really a nice day of driving. Mileage sucked as I was at 78 most of the day.

We stopped at Longview for the night. Fueling up on our last Mexican meal for a month or so.

300 miles home in the morning.

Pics from lunch and Longview's famous titty buildings in honor of Murrah.

Stopped of at the bonneville salt flats in the way home. Hit 98 mph on my second pass. Didn't have a helmet so I called it good. Cross that one off my bucket list!

Awesome.

Yeah, we were driving along and I asked toploader if he was up for it. Didn't even think about it for a second. That's why we've been bros for 25 years.
Glad I did it. Was kinda like driving the 40 up on the ledge on "top of the world" trail. If you don't do it when you have the chance, you'll regret it for the rest of your life!

Georg

Everywhere i go reminds me of CLC!

Great times!
i dont want them to end.

Turn around!!

Sure that is the real reason Georg?

I wonder how much faster you could have gone without Toploader? 125mph? hahaha!!!

We lost the alternator on the Cummins along the way. About 50 miles from Childress, TX. Called Fireman (David W.) who had arranged to get the alternator for my truck. Thought we might have to visit Fireman to get the part, but got lucky and found an alternator at O'Reilly's auto parts in Childress, TX. 15 minute alternator R/R and we're on the road.

William and I arrived last night. Good to be back home to unwind. We ate at Blake's Lotaburger with the green chilis in NM. Good call on the food Grog.
Also, stopped off in Bowie, TX to get fuel and eat at the truck stop. They had great hand pattied burgers and real french fries.

Still have not unloaded the stuff from the back of the truck.

SCC is not too far away and I have stuff to do around the house.

I had business in Salt Lake City a few years ago and made the drive out to the flats to make my run. Unfortunately, the flats were too wet from rain and I could not check that one off. Glad you got the chance!

We made a little over 800 miles today and finally got settled in a hotel in Wichata Falls. Gonna visit fireman and family in the morning then make a run for home!

Great times- Thanks to all!

Got to moonrocks after some great ribs in sparks Nv.
Crashed out after a couple of cold beers around a campfire. Woke up at 730, aired back down and wheeled for a couple of hours.
But now it's time to roll home and put an end to this epic trip!

Got a couple of new stickers on the tank during the trip.

Thanks Bodean and woody!

There's salt all over the tow rig, trailer and buggy. Even after 12 minutes at the car wash; ran out of quarters. Time to get busy with the pressure washer at home!
