georg

That's it ! I'm gonna have to ditch the family and ride with georg ,now!

Glad you are making this happen!

:bounce:

guess i'd better bring some tri-tip and maple breakfast links, huh?! :grinpimp:

should i bring the weber BBQ as well?

The cabins come equipped with outside charcoal grill. Anyone know if they're decent quality or do we need to bring our own grill?

I was told they had a fire ban. No open fires. Only gas and charcoal grills allowed.

Maple breakfast links are great!

Gonna be a great trip.

Just to confirm, Georg..one rig....Charles...one rig.

Are you guys going to go on the White Rim Trail with us on Monday and Tuesday? If so, I will send you guys the information to get registered for our campsite. Cost's $30 and you will need to add Domek to your application.

Lemme know.

Very Doubtful for Monday overnight trip. We might end up getting a small group and hitting local trails Monday and Tuesday. White Rim Trail will be too much street driving for my junk.
Georg might bring 2 rigs with him. One rig for me.

To be honest, I am having serious second thoughts about the whole White Rim Trail portion of this trip.

I know I have already sent in $30 as has Lash and JRob so I am just speaking for me....

Greg tells me today he is likely not going.

I just packed for one night with Will and Me to go Boy Scout camping and the amount of gear I am comfortable with on an overnight is a LOT of stuff. I am not sure I will have room for 4 people and all the gear. I know I can "rough" it a bit more than I am planning to, but I am not sure I want to.

I am sure it is going to EPIC but then again the entire week is going to be epic so......

No decision yet, but that is what I am thinking on 4/8/11

I'm good either way. Agree on all the gear.
Everything about this week is gonna be epic.
You decide leader and that's how I'll roll.

I guess the main question out there is will this be a big deal to anyone if we bag this part of the trip and do trails on those days instead?

The Elephant Hill day is epic goodness in Canyonlands National Park. We will get WAY back in places that most will never see. If folks have an "expedition" itch they have to scratch, this is a great trail for that.

Like I said, this is just the way I am feeling right now. If anyone is dead set, I will gladly listen.

I could do without the overnite trip. I was looking forward to not being in a tent for at least one event this year. Plus most of the crew don't have enough room for beer AND gear and I think they would choose beer over gear any day.

I agree with chris
It WILL be epic either way

We can front load PSM/Golden Spike/GB Rim to the front of the week and add Pritchett's Canyon on Thursday......

By the way, I will be running Pritchett Canyon one week from Monday :smokin:

SHUSH!

I am good either way. I just wanna wheel from daylight to dark. I know I will have a hard time getting everything in the 40. I second Lenny on the tent, but like a friend of ours says....."I just wanna do what the group wants to do."

Uhhh not cool to post up while your drunk ..

You with your bunco group tonite?

Did someone say beer? Makes no difference to me. I'll do whatever. I will say that if we have to take more gear than beer then I'm out!
