Lenny, if I go further with the idea I am definately going to chat with you about what Im thinking. I really like what JODO on the forums did but I want to stick with my coils.

Jodo's build is sick ! One of the best 80 builds on this forum. Also check out dusty's build. He 4 linked the rear and installed dana 60s & 42 iroks. Hecsaid if he were to do it again he would re use the rear design/ stock brackets and concentrate on getting the front to flex.

Thats what I was thinking

I wonder what entrance he took to get in? I doubt he was able to make it up mini lions back.

needless to say traction in moab is sweet.

That is the only way in other than Bump Dump from that direction. I would guess that was his entrance. At the end of the video he makes it up Launch Pad.

The Mini Lions back is between Hell's and Fins, not at the beginning of Hell's. Either way, that is wild.

That, and he had his rear wing deployed in such a way that it was creating a lot of downforce........:) You know, Formula 1 just started utilizing moveable rear wings this year also...

the beginning of Hells revenge has a "Mini lions back" looking obstacle. I refer to it as mini lion's back but i am not sure if thats what its called or not. basically a one lane ascending mound with drop offs to either side. lion's back is actually alot wider that this one im talking about.

maybe we need to start a crown vic club..

When I was there last it was still open to pay to drive it. There was a 4 Runner that was stripped out and wedged into a crack. It is probably still there.

This is baby-lions back. Will probably the first thing we do on Sunday on the way to Fins and Things.

Me on the same trail as the Crown Vic in 2003!

If you are not comfortable driving your Land Cruiser at trail pressure on the road then you MUST have an air source on your Cruiser. Be it a 12v plug-in or built in air tanks or CO2, you will have to have something.

We will be going on a few trails that will start near town and dump us out WAY away from town. E Hill and WR Trail will both involve long drives at the end of the day.

Tips:

First off, you won't need to air down as much as you do in say...Superlift. Traction is much better and the need to really hook up is not there on most trails we will run. Start at about 20 if you are running radials. Go lower as you need along the trail. 20# is also a decent enough pressure to get you back home on the road.

CO2 tanks are great but when they are out, they are out. Bring extra bottles if that is your plan. There may be a place to fill up out there, but we "aint got time fo that s***"

If you do use a CO2 tank, don't think you have to fill up to 35# every time. Get close and get to town and use a real air source.

If you plan on using a 12v compressor, please realize it will take a LONG time to fill up tires to road pressure. See above.

If anyone has a portable 110 compressor, we need to take it to the KOA.

I have a pancake compressor that we can take.
