Was working in my shop at 5 and saw 3 deer pass by. I grabbed my 22-250 and a chair and waited for them to feed by in range.

The barrel. I've never had any interest in a desert eagle, just have never seen one with a long barrel.

The National Firearms Act imposes restrictions on sales of some of the most dangerous weapons, such as machine guns and sawed-off shotguns. But because of outdated regulations, individuals have been able to avoid the background check requirement by applying to acquire these firearms and other items through trusts, corporations, and other legal entities. In fact, the number of these applications has increased significantly over the years—from fewer than 900 applications in the year 2000 to more than 90,000 applications in 2014. ATF is finalizing a rule that makes clear that people will no longer be able to avoid background checks by buying NFA guns and other items through a trust or corporation.
Interesting. I didn't know that that was even an option. I would have figured that all federally regulated weapons, automatics, and the like, would have fallen outside the trust option anyway. I do need to check around about getting a trust setup regardless.
The upside is that they are allegedly replacing Cleo certification with notification, which makes an individual application less problematic for those of us living in hostile territory like Hinds county.

it's all bull****, as you have to fill out form 4473 on every NFA item you buy. Nothing is going to anyone without a background check. It basically makes me either buy as an individual, or forces me to drag my wife down to get finger printed, or most likely decide that I have enough NFA stuff to keep me satisfied forever... the latter is the most likely outcome. Mission accomplished, Obama, mission accomplished. Guns are controlled and the world is now a safer place.
