Went and looked at the M&P Shield and compared it with the Glock 43. Anyone have real world experience with both? Sales rep said he preferred carrying the M&P even though it has a "crunchy" trigger, but he does own both. I liked the way the M&P felt in hand. They had a new one with night sights $500. Regular sights was about same price as the Glock 43 ($420).

I got to see the Boondocks facility a few weeks ago though my new job. It's a really nice facility. Looks like they threw a couple million at the build. They are going to nail the ladies market for MS.

The safety on the Shield is so small that I don't see how you could possibly accidentally engage it. My wife carries one, I carry hers when I don't feel like lugging around one of mine for an extended period of time. Never had an issue with the safety. I imagine you can pop it right out like you can with the full size M&P's, but I don't know for sure.

Want to, but it needs a good cleaning and oiling before it gets fed any fresh brass. Won't be putting a lot down range, but every once in a while is not going to be out of the question.

Put a scope on it today for him and got it right

He likes 180 grain bullets so I got him set up 2.5" high at 100 yards.

True zero at 250 yards

If you let these small rifles cool between shots they are super accurate.

Actually I just looked at Wad Cutters are still heavy grain bullets.

These pink Critical Defense are only 90 grain bullets. I bet that would be better.

I could not tell any difference between these. Both 130 grain but lower FPS than the pink ones

I've never shot any of those, basically have just shot whatever 38 I've had on hand. I'd guess that the ounk hornadys are some kind of low recoil load designed for the wimmen folk.
