Between Dad and me. Farm vehicles
2 tractors-Dad's toys
2 Jap trucks - the above pictured got it's second replacement motor this year. $2300
2 Cruisers - one done. One costs a lot. Motor is crap but I'll keep dumping oil in it
Yamaha Pro Hauler 1000 - awesome vehicle.
Pink Golf cart - $1300 rebuild this year. Should live forever if I do that every few years
RZR - $4280 motor this year. Fuuuuu
Kubota - Dads tank.
Lots of s*** to keep running

Did he say what platform his 308 was? I want to build an AR-10, and this doesn't help at all

Looks like Thermal set to "black-hot"....I want so bad....$5-6k just to start getting good res....and I thought LC add ons were a tough sell to the wife.
People forget that only some of the sound from a gun is muzzle blast,....even with a great suppressor, you still have the "crack" when the projectile breaks the sound barrier with standard velocity rifle ammo. I have an AAC .30 can I run on my AR-10 for deer hunting, and although it is quieter, and possibly hearing safe, there is still a good bit of noise, including inside an enclosed deer blind because of the increased back pressure in the action when it cycles....subsonic ammo is a bit of a disappointment ballistically.....except for .22 subs inside 50 yards,...they just make me smile when I hear them hit something.....same satisfying "thwack" from suppressed 5.56 when it hits a pig around 150 yards.

This statement reminds me of one of my more foolish moves. Back when I lived in MS a buddy had offered the use of one of his deer blinds for quick hunts on my way home from work. I stopped in one afternoon and foolishly brought a Thompson Contender chambered in 7-30Waters with a 14" hunter barrel w/muzzle brake. I'm sure my ears were bleeding when I set that thing off inside that tin covered blind. Never again without hearing protection!

Dunno the platform. He has lots of cool black guns.
The one he uses on deer is a subsonic .44 mag.
All you hear is the bullet hitting meat.
My only suppressed gun is a 10/22 with a full Barrel suppressor. It's cool but doesn't like to cycle subsonic rounds.

I bought 500 rounds of steel casing 556 and finally shot through it.
Last trip out I got one stuck in the barrel.
I pulled the barrel and put it in the freezer.
Beat it out with a rod. It was big time stuck.
