I am amazed how many are on the shelves now at academy and bass pro. Also glad to see ammo on shelves again except .22lr

DSGarms had Colt 6920's for $950 yesterday. If I didn't already have more AR's than I can possibly shoot, I'd have probably bought one. I don't recall ever seeing one cheaper than that. I think I paid about $1100 for mine in 2010.

That's insane. I'm right at 11 months on a case of .22 I ordered in late December. But I'm still seeing shortages of .22... AR lowers, not so much. Stripped or built?

Stripped. The RRA website is very clear that the are going to concentrate on building complete units and built lowers first before the sell stripped parts. Can't blame them for that. I did, however, try to convert my order from DYI to a complete built AR months ago and they would not do it. Nothing to do but wait. I'll have to think twice about ordering from RRA again though.

The good news is that you should be able to find a plethora of in stock lowers in the $100-$120 range right now.. the only down side is that you'll eventually have another lower sitting around begging to be built. Another panic will happen, you can never have too many stripped lowers. They're prepper currency!

Will whacked this 190# 8 pt. his first real buck. 100 yards, 125 grain .308. Ran 50 yards.

Well done Will!!!

Healthy buck

Dad scored big tonight. He's seen this deer 7 times. It finally stepped close enough.

Looks like you are getting everyone else the good shots, Nolen!
Now it's your turn!

That is one nice deer!

It's a young deer. No way it would make it another year around here. 3.5 years. Mega deer for that age at my farm. In fact, it was 20# lighter than Will's deer.

Will's was 4.5 years with a screwed up rack.

Great weekend.
