I'd have probably bought one of those Seekins lowers just on general principal.
I bought these Wednesday: glock 32--357 and a FNH FNS 40. Haven't had a chance to shoot either yet. Both are considered a compact. More excited about the FNH. has a great feel and weight to it.
I always wanted a .357 Glock but those shells are insane to shoot.
That is one bad ass round.
smm3 said:Hopefully I will get to shoot them both soon. For 100 or so, I can put in a 40 barrel which I will probably do. Never shot a 357 though.
I need a stripped lower to SBR/engrave, hate to do it to one of my current rifles.
I saw a stripped Noveske chanisaw lower for sale up around Southaven earlier this week... $450.
I am not going to pay more than $350, especially for a chainsaw. I am going to be patient; eventually, one will come up. I have also been waiting for the ar15.com lowers to come in stock as well. They are pricey ($820), but they are a killer deal, considering all that they come with.
On a separate note, my complete $540 upper arrives today, and my recored suppressor should be coming in too. I am taking off a few hours today to ensure I am going to be home so I can sign for them when they arrive.
I got my lower engraved by Ident Marking. They did an incredible job. They can also do the engravings on the underside of the trigger guard; hardly noticeable. I would not hesitate to get a lower engraved, if you are wanting an SBR.
Anybody looking for a lower? https://actionarmsinc.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=59&product_id=53
Thanks for the rec on engraving. I was planning on doing it with a flat head screw driver.
Shoot them both into heavy metal. The .357 will cook through a lot of stuff
We had some 60s era washing machines at one time.
.357 would do passthroughs as most rounds bounced off.
I have been told that the 357 round has a much higher velocity than a 40 round...would be nice to find some old washing machines to shoot.
No wonder you were worried.

If I recall, I paid about $75, including shipping. Not a bad deal for the great work.

Nice.
I do prefer to plink with a .38 wad, 9mm or 22
