asking for a little help on potential project.

I reviewed the various “Jack” threads, so I am assuming an ‘81 FJ45 LWB pick up LHD would have brown jack and handles? Can anyone confirm?

Also, does anyone have pictures of where/how jack and handles are stored on the same truck, or period and market correct? (Latam mkt truck, left hand drive)

Thank you in advance.

Marc

Hello Marc.

Not positive about the colors of the bottle jack and the jack handles.

See the photos.

the bottle jack would sit in the corner behind the driver just behind the U shaped bracket.. you notice the jack rod holders are on the rear wall behind the seats, that is where the rod handles will sit.. this was the setup that was on the 1983 FJ45 LHD. hope this helps..

Edmond4822,

Yes, this is perfect and I believe your jack is correct. Thank you very much.

The jack pictured above looks like part number 09111-60075, which dates between 1996-2002, used on Land Cruiser, Prado,
4Runner and Surf. The part number is on the label. This jack is rated 1.6Kg or 3530 lb.

For general markets, Toyodiy lists the jack as 09110-60020 for 1981-84 FJ45 pick-ups. Don't have a pictures of -60020 but other Land Cruiser jacks from this time frame are the earlier style brown jacks. These are all rated 2Kg or 4409 lb.

The top set of larger clips is for the engine starting handle/spare tire crank, the bottom two sets of smaller clips is for the two jack rods. The jack handle is stored in the tool bag.

Bumping this thread as I am searching for an OEM jack for my 1983 Troopy. The part number, as mentioned above is 09110-60020 but there's no photos of that jack anywhere that I can find on the internet. I posted in the Jack thread months ago and didn't get any further information so thought I might try here. I'm actually beginning to think it doesn't exist anywhere but on the parts diagram.
