tires mounted, and wasn’t happy with the sunkenness, so went ahead and ordered spacers for the front and rear.

that’s pretty much it so far.
just spent the last few months driving it all over and loving every second of it.
getting about 13mpgs isn’t the best on my wallet but the smiles per gallon is worth it😂

next up i need to do some basic things to get it ready to tow my drift cars around, fix the sunroof so it actually functions lol, and tinting the windows so i don’t get baked in this louisiana heat.
lift and new arms and such shortly after.

Awesome to see transformation projects like this.

I’m diggin‘ Mr Pickles

I went through all and everything you did are impressive.. brining a dying LC back to life!

Don't forget to get the heater T's replaced.

When I bought mine I did a trip to FL from west TX. It did 12.5 MPG at best, but after a baseline with all OEM filters (air, oil, fuel), used toyota coil packs (from sequoia/Tundra of the same era), diff fluid and with 265 75 16 I get 17.7 MPG at 75 MPH.

Dude this awesome. Thanks for spending the time to show your journey! Love the Gray 100 series. Seems like that corolla was a start to something awesome.

Nice work! Love that color and those tires look great.

Did you replace that core support yourself? I actually bought a core support at a junkyard after hitting a deer, but gave up after looking at what it was going to take to get it in and paid a professional haha

Nice job saving an old cruiser! Love the Rock River Green Mica also.

JMO, but the best way to repair the sunroof is to seal it up and disconnect the switches. Of course I have an abiding hatred of them, so take my advise with a grain of salt!
