Coolant leak from thermostat to block bolts

I just replaced my water pump and thermostat among other things. I fired it up today to find coolant was leaking out of the driver's side lower thermostat housing bolt. Is this a common occurrence? What would the fix be? I did apply a small amount of FIPG to the threads prior to install. I think I ended up re torquing the bolts so it's possible that seal broke.

For sure it's from the bolt and not the housing or seeping out of the hose?

I'm fairly confident it's from the bolt. I'll try to get a pic or video tonight.

If it is indeed from the bolt you can just seal the threads, can use loctite 575... but I am a fan of permatex ultrablack, it just works!

I usually give the fipg 24 hours to set before adding coolant. Might need to drain and redo.

It had about two weeks to dry...I bet i just broke the seal on the retorque
