UAE is the Amazon of OEM parts. Even with the shipping they cost less than the local dealers we have and the parts are physically there in stock waiting to be put in a box and sent out worldwide. I needed a TCC solenoid for my LS430. Part was $248 at the local Lexus Dealer and had to come from the west coast. I ordered one out of the UAE for $137 shipped and it was on my porch a few days later.
These outfits actually don’t have any stock at all. They just package things and ship them.
They pull from regional distributorship depots that they’ve agreements with and are allowed to develop computer inventory programs to sell the depot stock.
These companies that sell parts are just software companies that happen to sell a physical widget as their output.
Whatever computer voodoo they are doing, the widgets still arrive in a timely manner.
The owners of most of the UAE joints are Russians with computer engineering degrees.

All items showed as "in stock" when ordered, but now they are all "on order". I know they are using DC's, but can the DC not drop ship parts to customers just as easy as they can ship them to a dealership? This whole system seems way more complicated than it should be. I just hope the parts are actually real and not just showing in the system, but don't really exist.
None of those parts consolidators have stock either. They are just computer programs as well.
No one in the US is going to be stocking parts like that. They will all have to come from a depot.
Yeah, I figured. I also realize that I am ordering parts for a 30 year old rig, so I guess I should just be happy if they can find them.

Overseas people say its in stock and they move to get it shipped.
stateside people including amazon and others, say in stock but they may or may not ship in the same week or same two week period regardless if the parts is in their possession or not.
old days...in stock meant item shipped within a day or two of purchase. New day....we'll ship whenever we fell like it regardless of stock status. Oh..yea and pay us anyway...
