I've surfaced (pun intended). I did not get flooded, thank God. It really is nuts here. There is virtually NO place in the metro area that didn't flood. They are saying it's a 1000 year flood. I am incredibly lucky to have avoided flooding, and feel so good about all that my community is trying to do to help. It's time for a few beers and a little relaxation.
