$6500 3 adults 2 kids for disney that i know about. I am still pissed.
Much rather hit the slopes or wherever for that kinda cash.

Much rather take wheeling trips AND buy truck parts. Atleast i would have something tangible instead of expensive memories.

You need to let it go Lenny.

That is some seriously funny mud s***.

Glad the wife and I have always been on the same page about Disney. No f-ing way. Way too much great s*** to see in the U.S. without wasting money or a vacation on that place.

Interested in a group RTT buy. Want to put one on the trailer.

Haha. Yeah, well, if it was one or the other, I would have put up a bigger fight.

It's fun. Stupid expensive, but fun. Mine are getting to the age that the amusement parks are a better deal. More into rides that go nuts than the characters.

Take em to 6 Flags.

Anyone interested in sitting around the fire, getting drunk, and discussing appliance repair and the depths to which appliance manufacturing quality has sunk?

I just replace it when it breaks.

Fxxx that.

No sh!t. Right now, my fancy stove, dishwasher, and microwave all have physical and/or electronic defects.

Had to scrap a fancy "he" front loading washer a while back because the pump crapped out and we got tired of waiting for another pump to show up in the US inventory.

I agree with the logic, but, unfortunately, I cannot apply it to a $1000+ washing machine that I should have never bought to begin with. I've been to the depths of hell with these fxxxing pieces of s*** appliances I spent way too much on. After the last repair on this particular appliance, I swore I was done. Yesterday, google led me to believe that this entire tub assembly is still under warranty, and that I might be able to get it back into near new, working order for free...save my time and the 5 - 10 years I shave off my life expectancy during the tear down and reassembly processes. That tid bit of info, combined with the morbid curiosity to find out what exactly was causing this beast to sound like a freight train and eventually self destruct from its core outward, forced me to tear into it.

Eventually this washer, and all its equally s***ty brethren, will be replaced by units so inexpensive, that, upon failure, they will find themselves at the dump way before I have the chance to enter a few key words into the google search bar.

Out...it's Miller time.

most awesome mud quote so far this year....

My washer and dryer has been going for years now. Did I tell you that I fixed my dishwasher JT? LOL!

This set is a little over 8 years old. Dryer has never had a problem...this is the third time I've been into the washer. And yes, I've been through dishwasher multiple times as well.

Fortunately (or perhaps, unfortunately) I can fix these things too; being un-fixable is not my argument. Rather, it's the fact that the price point of these worthless piles of s*** suggests the quality of appliances manufactured 20 - 30 years ago. I think we can all agree that is simply not the case. As such, the price should instead reflect the piss poor quality and allow the consumer to purchase them with the 'Fxxx that...I just replace them when they break' mentality that Mr. Grogan so eloquently expressed earlier.
