That is not including food and all the BS the kids hit me up for.

Unreal.

We have 1.5 Disney days too that are going to knock our dicks in the dirt.

$1500 flights

$1200 hotel

1/2 Thurs - Sunday

Tolleson Style son.....

My last trip to Disney was sponsored and it still cost me...

effin place is HARDCORE.

I'd rather spend a week skiing than to do Disney again. So would the daughter. We get awesome Disney deals thru the military but it's still expensive!

I'm LOL'ing at this Disney talk. You guys... sounds like the wives want to go, especially since the kids have zero recollection of a $5K vacay.
I grew up too poor to ever go as a kid. Only went once as an adult and it was a blast. We went to The Island place at night with all the bars. AMAZING trip.
Pretty excited that I don't spend $5K on a 3 day trip to heat and bitching.

When we do Disney (and it has been MANY times) we do it on the cheap. We drive down, stay on grounds at the Value resorts for a week or more and do the dining plan and we only spend around $2,500 for the 4 of us. We have gone the last several years at Mardi Gras. Lines aren't too bad especially if you know how to work the fast pass. The kids usually start asking around Christmas or the new year if we are going back so I know they remember each trip. They talk about it constantly. As is Nolen's situation, Sandy makes the big $$. This is something she likes to do I am a big kid at heart and have a blast each year.

We haven't been to Universal in ~17 years, before the kids were born. I have to be in Orlando at Universal for our national sales meeting so Sandy and I are going down a few days early to be big kids at Universal for a few days. That's why the ticket price caught my attention. I think she found some with all the bells and whistles for around $800 for 4 days for the 2 of us.

Vacations are crazy expensive but she has taught me that we can't take it with us and we might as well have fun on this go 'round. :D

My argument is "The 40 needs a cage and you don't have a job. I will pay half the disney trip you pay the other half". Well that is

what I say in my head anyway. Disney before the age of 5 or 6 is a waste, they wont remember it. I grew up in Jacksonville FL

and went many times and don't remember but one trip. If you do go do this: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/d...wilderness-resort/hoop-dee-doo-musical-revue/
