Let's see, the poorest state, smallest athletic budgets in the SEC and no history of winning with either school (don't bring up those white boy championships). That enough for ya? Combine the big 3 and we would be a powerhouse. University of Miss Bulldogs. Team colors gold and black. I'll be the first one to sign the petition. If the USM folks don't want to do it then let us in CUSA!

I've been saying that for years. There is no way any of the schools can really compete for any given time with schools like lsu that the are alone in the state. The best they can hope for is a 8-9 win season every few years. They can't even get the SWAC schools to combine so it is just a dream.

Ole Miss=football, no BBall or baseball
USM=basketball, no football or baseball

Every year we would be in top five in at least 2 of the above sports.

Auburn and Alabama are in the same state and consistently competitive. Why can't Ole Miss and Miss State?

Gonna take a lot of work, but definitely doable.
