Has anyone figured out what alum paid for those stupid gold cleats? Maybe some uniform company dumped the gold cleats on State? They even had new jerseys made up with gold around the numbers!? What the hell did all that gold cost? Will they only wear them to the Egg Bowl, or is it a permanent change?

This had to have been forced on Mullen. Why would Mullen think he needed gold cleats and gold highlighted jerseys to get his Dawgs fired up for the Egg Bowl? I don't think he would. Who is really in charge of the Bulldogs uniform decisions? Something about this just does not seem kosher. I think an investigation is in order.

Trust me. This is still no where near the name/mascot change decision at Ole Miss!

But gold cleats?!? They're Bulldogs, not... Oh nevermind! I really need to let this go.

Maybe they should have painted their facemasks gold to top it all off. Gold grills on moron helmets!
