So Southern Miss was given their choice of all CUSA affiliated bowls and they chose the Hawaii Bowl, on Christmas Eve? Who made that bonehead decision? Good vacation trip for the players, but I doubt they'll have more than 12 fans in attendance and probably about that many more watching on TV.

Hugh Freeze. His record is good. Ole Miss time with Orgeron....a guy that gave us some really, really good recruits.

I know as my angry friend JesS repeatedly pointed out that Ole Miss was not going to rank a big-name coach, and even if it had, they would have just bounced out in a few years like Tubberville did and Froggy Mullen will.

I can dig it. We got nowhere to go but up.

Good question. Bomar is right, but Freeze has been connected with a bunch of Ole Miss people a long time. There are more Ole Miss Alum at Briarcrest then Prep and JA. He was also Michael Oher's coach at Briarcrest and the Tuoheys (sp) are big ole miss alum. Freeze has also done real well at ASU.

Does not change a lot. It is going to be hard to win at ole miss or state regularly with 3 div 1 schools.
I think Freeze runs the spread offense so that will be interesting.

I am already tired of all the talking heads replaying every play of LSU and Bama game from earlier in the year. When is the next off road event?
