The crappy thing is that a win here for USM means a loss of about $500K for each and every CUSA team. Can't win for losin.

hey Lash I LIKE your thinking....i did undergrad at UM but im claiming USM after that win since I did my master's there!!! that game was great.....maybe State and da Bears can get back to that type of play one day....in 6 years....after 2 more coaches.....oh well

Oh and always talking about the past 3 egg bowls is kind of living in the past as well. Congrats on this years win. There will be at least 1 new coach next year so we will have to wait and see how it turns out.

Why is it when Ole Miss wins the Egg Bowl we all (fans of both teams) move on to bigger and better things like watching bowl games, cooking, driving our land cruisers, hunting.....LIFE
and when State wins, message boards, such as this one and all the sports related ones, pipe up with State fans bragging and, in general, acting like it's a high school rivalry.......im so sick of the inferiority complex.
having said that......Congrats to State for the Egg Bowl win, for having a better season than my bears and for milking every possible drop out of the "nana nee bo bo....we are better than you mentality"
I still think we should disband both teams and give USM the parts worth salvaging
