Had it open last night as i was trouble- shooting. Just posted a poll and some questions from the heater resistor rant to see if other folks can get us some broader input.

All starter problems solved on the Cruiser with the coil bolt contacts cleaned, and a separate ground wire from ignitor case to the wheelwell.
Corolla prob is a software problem. Seems when the outside air temp, and the starting coolant temp are more than 45 degrees different, the ECU drops a code, and trys to relearn its conditioning. That causes problems when driving up the hill. Had to reset comp last week, and found this conditioning guide for the ECU.
