Madison is just 5 minutes from the Cherokee...just sayin.

I agree with Nolen. We also discussed things after the incident last month, and the Lakeland Mugshots was mentioned then.Spivey, the few people at the meeting tonight that were there were all pretty done with the Cherokee and I understand Jrob is not too keen on coming back.
I ask the BOD to get together on this and find us a new meeting spot.
Mugshots on Lakeland has a big parking lot with a lot of visibility and I think it has a room we could reserve. Soon there will be one on Lake Harbour and Old Canton. Maybe make one change when that place opens.
Either way, I don't want the meeting to die off due to the location being "scary" or too far from a certain group. Andy and I are both in Madison County and we both felt once a month that Lakeland Drive is not bad.
I like the idea of both meeting places, especially those associated with a shop (whether it be Chris', Rob's, mine, etc.) I'm confident we can figure a practical way to get food/drink to a shop or cook there, and it would tend to promote more involvement with the vehicles. Plus, like Nolen mentioned Tuesday, it'd give those with kids a little more room.We will hold a BOD meeting at the Mugshots on Lakeland to scope it out. I will drop by there and talk to the Mgt. beforehand as well. Several other options have been discussed to include a Sunday meeting every once in a while at 49 Tire. Burgers, cooler of drinks and an opportunity to throw your rig on a lift if you want. I think it could be cool and a way to get more folks involved.
What y'all think??
