It's time to step in here: CLEARLY, Cathead isn't the place for the meeting. It's not that everyone no longer wants to see each other, it's that Cathead's not the place. Now, where to go is the obvious question - for which, I don't have the answer - but it's clear we need to pick another venue. Let's work on a new location and make the move. All suggestions welcome.

I’m just throwing out ideas and will keep thinking.
I think that it is way too far out of town but we just went to Sacred Ground BBQ for lunch and it was great. My favorite restaurant around is Lou’s but not sure that there is ample parking. Maybe the District with those new restaurants, my office is there so I am biased. Masa Mesa and Sal and Mookies, should be plenty of parking after work.

If anyone likes Thai food then my favorite is Thai Tasty off Old Canton, not a great location but plenty of parking, a newer, excellent restaurant is a Mexican place in Ridgeland called La Morena on Wilson Drive. My new favorite Mexican restaurant. I know that I am new to the group but just trying to help. I look forward to getting to know everyone.

If needed, I would be willing to reach out to the owners to secure parking. I think The District would be open to it. Jeff Good and Derek Emerson own the restaurants.

I'm open to new places... It's a generally open lot with plenty of parking for a large meeting and able to buy a drink and hang out by our cars... Not many locations have "go cup" policies etc. that allow us to drink a beer and hang out in public... @dnp you want to start hosting at the old flea market?

We have a meeting in about 12 days for us to decide a new location. Fertile Ground wasn't bad but parking and being able to see rigs became an issue and I no longer wish to support due to some other conflicts.

Once again, The district is very spread out and unless we park in a corner by the bank, It doesn't really allow us anything more than what we have at Cathead... I'm happy to contact the owners of the district aka Duckworth, Derrick or Jeff as we are colleagues and I'm a restaurant owner too.

My next vote would be to meet at Cruiserhead businesses that want to volunteer and move the meeting around month to month... Managing the logistics of a monthly club meeting is ok if I have volunteers and can schedule, if we have a static location, things are always going to come up with any specific public location and legality around being able to have a beer... That's my .02 and why Cathead was chosen. Madison and Ranking county don't have any "go zone" red cup areas that I'm aware of let alone the police presence... If someone wants to nominate themselves for "monthly meeting organizer" I'm happy to get it off my plate and I can focus on Crawl and TLCA.

Possibly the last meeting at Cathead tomorrow night, I’d love to discuss other options.

Yall want to meet out in Pocahontas at Sacred Ground? Just a thought, not tomorrow but another idea.
