Alex wants a car...

Same old story, I've got a 22re in a topless celica, Alexzandra needs a ride. I'm thinking a 22re powered truck with or without a motor, preferrably 2wd seing as we live out in the boonies- or another celica with a top.. Let me know if you see any deals. I've been watching CL but miss all the good ones. Willing to look at decent cars, diesel vw's, etc..
 
My buddy is looking for a set of wheels for his 79 2wd toyota truck. Just wants something to mount snow tires on. He's got money but I'm guessing cheap or free is preferred. :-) its got 14" rims at the moment but he could probably upgrade to a 15". Its 5 lug.

Alex got an '89 tracker, 2 door tin-top. Yes, a non-toyota. It's gonna need a little this or that but should be a fun ride for her.
 
This is OFF TOPIC but I had to put it somewhere. Anyone here in Medford/ CP have a full sized PU I can borrow for a couple hours tomorrow?? Doesn't have to be 4X4 . A have a couple old cabinets for the garage that have been offered to me free but I need a pu to go get them near J-ville. I could put a few bucks gas in your tank for the use. PM me if you can and thanks...!

I got a truck bed trailer you could borrow for free if you want it. You just need a hitch.
 
R150 Looking for a good home - 100 / and some yoke parts - free

I've got an 89 R150 tranny combo I pulled from an 89 Runner sometime ago. It's basically complete minus the backup light switch, it got damaged. Have it on CL for 150, but anyone here can have it for 100. Also have the matching VIN for rebuild reasons if wanted....I'm in Rogue River

Hmm, I may have to get this from you. You got any idea of the mileage or condition? Bearing noise etc? If I did a sas to my 99 runner I would either need a passenger drop trans/tcase or a driver drop front axle... I have a 85 front axle laying around. This could make the swap pretty cheap.
 
Sorry bout that, it appears that another member on here was interested and I replied to his pm assuming it was you and I wasn't paying attention, my bad. Basically from what I remember is it has around 219k. The tranny shifts into all the gears as it should, the t-case shifts nice also, no snags or rough stuff, feels like it shifts better than mine. Output flange and input shaft feel good, both spin with the effort to be expected, the only evident sound is the gears meshing in the housing, which sounds normal. Nothing sounds or feels weird or abnormal. I try to be brutally honest, to a flaw maybe, in matters like these, so as to hope you'll find it better than you'd expect. Hmmmm, still considering it. I'm trying to look up gear ratios for my current transmission, I tried to find them briefly but failed. Does anyone have any clues? 99 4runner, v6 5spd?? I was wondering if this trans will get me a deeper first and less of an overdrive over my current one.
 
80 series Slee Sliders

Selling my Slee sliders off my 80. They are the 1st gen design w/o cat protection. Should fit 91-97. Figured I would try local first.

They could use a new coat of paint at some point. Other than that they are straight and served me well. I had them completely sandblasted before I rattle canned them with restoleum <sp?>.

I can get pics if anyone wants.
