Kief, i wish i had the money

I saw and took pictures of that rig in town a couple years ago. All that stuff is custom welded aluminum. Very unique set up and very lightweight I'm sure. Not worth what he's asking though. When are people gonna understand you can't add up all the prices for the goodies you paid for and expect to get that for you rig when you sell?

My brother is looking to get into an FJ-55 or FJ-60. (Keif, yours is too pretty for him.)

Anyone got a line on one cheap? Needs to run, no major work, doesn't need to be super pretty.

WANTED:

Dresser - before I go out and grab one from CL or wherever, anybody have a simple dresser (3-5 drawer) sitting around they want to get rid of or sell? Not to picky, but something in decent condition; cause I hate moving them... lol. Under $100.

Recovery strap...

I have yet to buy a recovery strap for my truck. Anyone have an extra they'd like to sell? If not recommendations where to get a good one locally? Kief, I thought you had told me about a place for rigging supplies etc once before?? Any advice on the appropriate size/length/strength for my truck?

Personally, I wouldn't use a strap if it didn't stretch like a bungie. Maybe not quite as much but still...
I have ProComp, 2.5 or 3inch, I think it's rated at around 30,000lbs.
Most of the 'yellow' straps don't stretch much and thus don't work as well IMHO. Also, as you may already know, nothing with a chain or metal hook.
You want 'stretch'. That feature works so much better.
JMTC,

Yup- I have seen a lot of rigging supplies @ fluid connectors off of 62 and logger/contractor supplies. Wheeler Offroad has that stuff too. Russ is right on when it comes to stretch, it keeps the hammer effect from busting stuff and helps you keep traction. Take some time to look at what you have to attach to on your rig, you might need some D- rings, the stock hooks are OK but there is nothing like have your strap fall off when it goes slack. This can also be a little dangerous!
