Looks good!

Word of caution: Don't hang your hat on that leak seal remaining leak proof very long. The application I used it for is slightly different, but I've had a bad experience with the product's longevity.

We have a sun room on the house we bought. The roof has 6 sections. These were sealed with some sort of caulk/silicone when we bought the house. This year we've had some leaks as apparently the old stuff finally cracked enough to begin leaking. I grabbed 4 cans of Leak Seal from Wally World and re-sealed the seams. It only lasted 1 month before it cracked and the leaks returned. :crybaby:

However, you don't have an improperly pitched sun room roof on top of Clifford. Your mileage will probably be much be much greater than mine. Just keep that in mind. ;)

Thanks for the info. As a vendor in Home Depot, when we do trainings for their associates I often get to hear about other products. This stuff is supposed to be different from the other similar products at Walmart and Lowes in that it has more solids and spreads farther. Also, it's paintable and we put several coats of paint over it so we will see how it holds up. I had already decided that if this doesn't work I will just slop on a coat of kool seal, the trailer roof coating and be done. That stuff is like tar.

Discovered an electrical issue. Cleaned up some unnecessary wiring, cleaned the terminals and posts on the battery.....electrical issue fixed. Installed a 5w solar trickle charger on the roof to keep the battery charged. While fixing the electrical issue, I discovered the water pump was leaking. Upon further investigation, I discovered it was actually cracked in 3 places. So, I decided to move a bunch of the plumbing since the genius that built the hauler had all the electrical and water connections on top of one another. Ordered a new pump and plumbed everything else. I am just waiting on the pump to come in. I also added a drain valve and a fill valve.

The pump came in and is now installed. The water is working the way it should. Got 2 deck boards replaced under the electrical and the water heater. It was so rotted that I was able to push my hand through the boards (which is what prompted me changing them out). I didn't want to try to tackle all the boards but these 2 were very much in need of replacement. Some of the others will need to be replaced eventually but I feel better now about not seeing the water heater in the road in my rear view mirror. :D Sandy made some window coverings and now I just need some waterproof coverings for the bathroom. Clifford will be ready for LCC and SCC.

seems to be coming along nicely

Can't wait to see this thing! Only a few more days!!

So, how was the big red dog. How's she pull. How's she sleep..

Thanks, Cody Sent from my iPad using IH8MUD

Only 2 small issues. The water heater stopped working properly on day 3. It may just be the element that needs to be changed as the water seemed to get warm but not super hot like it did on the first 2 days. And we found a small leak at the A/C, thankfully not over the bed. It only happened during the very hard rain on Sat night. Slept very well, better than I ever have in a tent. Everyone started leaving Sat night after the raffle because of the impending rain. We weren't worried. Pulled straight as an arrow. But I want toi put at least one camera on the deck so I can see what's going on while hauling. I can't see the rig at all and that's just an uncomfortable feeling. The Ford however threw some code that would not allow the transmission to downshift on the way home. I got the ABS light and a wrench symbol on the dash. Still looking into what it was as the tuner would not read any codes for some reason. All in all, a great trip and the wife and I enjoyed Clifford versus tenting. Much easrier set-up / take down and much more comfortable.

My Banks system only lets me check CEL or codes while I am parked, Not sure if thats an issue for you.
Good to hear all went well with the trailer.

Well, I got it to read correctly after I reset the ECU back to stock. It said "No Codes". So I am confused as to what is going on but I will delve into it soon. I think I figured out the leak. Still have to look at the water heater........

Didn't take any pics but put another layer of water proofing sticky tape around the a/c unit. We'll see if that fixes things. I also pulled the heating element in the water heater. No wonder it quit working. It had 2 spots where it split open and water was getting inside. So, ordered another one. Hope it gets here before the weekend other wise I won't be hooking up the water at Mount Chocula. I also was able to run new speaker wires for some outside speakers. And I put some new hooks on the ends of my ratchet straps to make it easier to strap Hachi down on the deck.
